If you are a hard-core feng shui aficionado, Lillian Too’s new book, Total Feng Shui could be what you’re looking for to take you to that next feng shui level. I don’t want to scare off anyone who feels confident in her own feng shui knowledge. If you use feng shui in your life and know the power it can exhibit, you probably know that there is always more to learn (feng shui and otherwise). So get ready. Total Feng Shui will touch on areas you might never have thought of. But with patience and perseverance, these new areas of exploration can transform your life.
Lillian Too is felt by many to be the main reason that feng shui has become so popular in the Western world. She breaks down the concept of feng shui so that people can understand an oftentimes literally foreign belief system to a way that is totally comprehendible and acceptable. Whether you are a new comer to feng shui, or a true believer, you can find a Lillian Too book you will be able to understand that will offer valuable information to be incorporated into your life.
Total Feng Shui covers work, play, health, wealth, and probably any category you can think of. Too begins by explaining the overall concept of feng shui and progresses quickly (within the first few pages) to what would be the equivalent of quantum physics to a lay person in the world of math and science.
Too does not talk down to her audience. She explains the theories behind different principles of feng shui such as in the chapters Protective Symbols and Rituals, Flying Star Formula of Period Feng Shui, and Clearing Personal Space Rituals. But again, I gently warn you, there may be many books between what you know now about feng shui and what this book has to offer. I have seen my own limitations and I know I have a lot of catching up to do.
